Innovation in Action Workshop May 19

Worried about Walmart? Wondering about Transit? Think you’ve got some ideas to help solve some tough problems in our community? Have we got a workshop for you!

Join SPUR and Dr. Alex Bruton as we learn how to innovate our way to solving some of Cochrane’s biggest challenges. Dr. Bruton specializes in teaching people how to innovate, through his role as a professor at Mount Royal University and in his consulting practice. You can read more about him here at his website.

The focus of this workshop is on creating really big value ideas and making them real. Alex will be introducing a series of innovation tools and walking us through using them to create real ideas, with real impact.

Organized by SPUR, Sustainability Partners Uniting Resources, this event will build upon some of the high-value ideas that are already out in the community, and help you solve some of the communities (and your organizations) toughest challenges.

The workshop will be held at the:

Cochrane High School

529 4th Avenue North, Cochrane, AB

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Registration for this event is $95 and includes a catered lunch.

Champions and Citizens of Sustainability are eligible for a $50 discount!
