Progress Report 2010
Since the Cochrane Sustainability Plan was released in 2009, it has been guiding area businesses, organizations and residents to a more sustainable future. Sustainability Partners Uniting Resources (SPUR), the volunteer community group facilitating implementation of the Plan, released a 32-page report on January 24 that highlights sustainability progress to date.
Pathways to Progress: The 2010 Cochrane Sustainability Plan Progress Report provides an overview of the 13 Pathways to the Future in the Cochrane Sustainability Plan. Each Pathway is evaluated to determine the progress to date on its specific Targets. In addition, the report includes examples of community projects that illustrate the purpose and impact of the Pathway’s Targets.
Stepping Stones Provide Sustainability Edge
Cochrane’s Sustainability Champions are about to get a significant leg up when it comes to being sustainable. The sustainability business planning program that recently received funding through SPUR’s Bull Pen competition is about to launch workshops for community Champions.
